Tsubota Pearl Japanese lighter in Leather

This petrol lighter from Tsubota Pearl, a Tokyo-based workshop crafting fine metal and leatherwork since 1952, is a study in form and timeless utility. Wrapped in smooth leather and designed for one-handed use, its both tactile and minimal, evoking a luxury meant to age with grace. Over time, the leather softens and darkens, bearing the marks of daily use – lighting incense, candles, or a fire just before dusk.
