Scentsation Honeysuckle

The name tells you almost everything you need to know. Yes, this is the most wonderfully fragrant honeysuckle you will ever growthat’s almost a given. But what you might not suspect is that the scent comes from the sheer number of blooms as well as their individually strong aromas. This super free-flowering vine sets more blooms than you can believe possible.

The flowers are bright yellow and so showy, bringing bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds into the garden by the dozen. They begin in mid-spring on this twining shrub and continue in waves all through summer and into fall. Such an amazingly long season and with more blooms than ever before.

Bred in Herefordshire, England, Scentsation is hardy to -20 to -30F, thriving in full sun or, in the hottest climates, light shade. It reaches 10 feet long without a backward glance and easily 5 feet wide, so find a big trellis, fence, wall, or other sturdy support and watch it take off! Zones 4-9.
