Phlox Patriotic Festival Blend

Patriotic Festival Blend is a gorgeous mix of tall garden phlox that proudly displays clusters of red, white, and blue blooms throughout the summer. Reaching a height of 24 to 36 inches, their sturdy stems support abundant, fragrant flowers that are rich in nectar, attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. These cheerful blooms also make wonderful cut flowers, perfect for creating vibrant summer bouquets.

The Phlox paniculata varieties in Patriotic Festival Blend, also called tall phlox, are hardy perennials suited for Zones 4-8. Their bold colors and lush flower heads are perfect for planting in butterfly gardens, cottage-style borders, or as a highlight in perennial beds.

Easy to care for, Patriotic Festival Blend thrives in sunny to partially sunny spots with fertile, well-drained soil that retains adequate moisture. These phlox flourish with consistent watering, especially during dry periods, and benefit from a layer of summer mulch to keep roots cool and moist. Fertilize in spring for healthy growth and remove spent flowers to extend the bloom time. Taller stems may need staking, and good air circulation is essential for optimal health. Deer resistant.

Plant Patriotic Festival Blend phlox roots in spring, spacing them 18 to 24 inches apart and burying them 1 to 2 inches deep.
