Insights of Party

DESCRIPTION

Clay, Pigment, Acrylic, Charcoal and Oil on Canvas | 2023

Conceptual artist Ali Beletics Neon Primitivism series is a natural extension of her commitment to primitivist ideology and bringing the party and the fun. Inspired by ancient cultures and civilizations, these paintings mix the ultra mattes and earthy clays of Mexican folk art with vibrant charcoals, botanical dyes and untraditional pigments, juxtaposing glowing neons with primal gesture and celebrating the marriage of archaic and contemporary tradition, sensuality and artistic expression.
