Planting & Care

1. Planting: Choose a location with partial to full shade. This plant thrives in areas with dappled sunlight, making it ideal for woodland gardens or shaded borders. Plant in well-drained, moist soil, ensuring the rootball is level with the soil surface. Backfill the hole and water to establish.

2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the growing season. Water deeply when the top inch of soil feels dry. Although drought-tolerant once established, regular watering will encourage better blooming and overall health.

3. Fertilizing: Feed your Lenten Rose once a year with an organic fertilizer. Apply the fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth and vibrant blooms.

4. Pruning: Minimal pruning is required. In late winter, before new buds emerge, trim old or damaged leaves down to the ground.
