Basketball in the Park

In Basketball in the Park, Laura Burke blurs the line between still life and landscape. Known for her lush compositions of everyday objects, she brings a sense of interior calm to an outdoor scene that feels both observed and imagined. Flowers and vessels mingle with the distant rhythm of a game, as if the tranquility of a daydream has settled over the park. The result is a poetic meditation on perception and place, where the quiet focus of still life meets the fleeting energy of the world beyond.
