Peterman’s Boards and Bowls | 10″ Spalted Maple Oval Bowl

This 10-inch spalted maple oval bowl from Peterman’s Boards & Bowls feels like a small slice of New England wilderness captured in wood, ready to hold your everyday treasures. We love how the brand upcycles fallen maple trees in the early stages of decomposition, letting nature’s fungi create those stunning spalted lines and patterns that make each piece a one-of-a-kind masterpiece with smooth grain and a light, luminous color.

The oval shape at 10 inches wide by 2.5 inches high sits perfectly for olives and nuts on the coffee table, a side of pickles at dinner, or a generous scoop of fruit for breakfast. Handcrafted with care, it’s sustainably sourced and built to gain even more warmth and character over time with gentle use and proper care.

Compact yet captivating, it nests beautifully with larger sizes in the collection if you want to grow your set. Perfect for home cooks who appreciate quiet beauty and thoughtful sustainability in every detail. Bring this little gem home and let its natural artistry shine!
